A 25 year old man has died after he died after he drowned from Thuchira River in Phalombe.
The man, identified as Moses Nyanguta, was a member of Amazng Church Ministries Choir in Bangwe, Blantyre.
According to police, Nyanguta drowned while swimming.
The incident occurred yesterday in the area of Traditional Authority Mkhumba in the district.
Police said Nyanguta and fellow members of the choir went to Thuchira River to shoot music videos.
Post mortem results indicate that death was due to suffocation secondary to drowning.
