Man Nabbed For Murdering 6 Year Old Biological Daughter

Police in Kasungu have arrested a man for allegedly murdering his 6-year-old daughter.
Kasungu Police Station publicist Edna Mzingwitsa identified the suspect as Emmanuel Shawa from Maswani Village, Traditional Authority Wimbe in the district.
According to Mzingwitsa, the suspect has a mental disorder and on the day of the incident, he was left at home with the deceased.
“It has been reported that Shawa defiled the child before he murdered her with a hammer,” Mzingwitsa said.
Shawa has been charged with murder and will be taken to hospital soon for mental examination.
