Authorities at Mzuzu University have bowed down to pressure as they have now released names of graduating students.

This comes barely two days after a taskforce for concerned former students asked the institution to release a list of graduands by tomorrow 12th February.

The taskforce had threatened to stage protests if the names were not released by tomorrow.

Andrew Maliro, Chairperson for MZUNI Concerned Graduands has hailed the management for positively responding to their demands.

According to Maliro, so far only few graduands have been left out on the list a thing which they are following up.

The former students have been tussling with the institution demanding the setting up steps to hold a graduation years after they completed their studies.
