Director of Procurement at Central Medical Stores Trust (CMST) Rex Kuyeli has been suspended indefinitely for allegedly mismanaging about 100,000 N95 Face masks.
CMST spokesperson Herbert Chandilanga confirmed the development on Monday afternoon.
The suspension of Kuyeli comes barely two days after President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera fired Commissioner for Department of Disaster Management and Presidential of Task force on Covid-19 John Phuka.
The firing of the two follows the plunder of MK6.2 billion Covid-19 funds.
