At least 37 people have been convicted and fined K5, 000 each for contravening Covid-19 prevention rules in Ntcheu.
The 37 were convicted for not wearing face masks in public at Mphate trade centre early morning today.
All the convicts have paid the fines.
Meanwhile Ntcheu Police Station Spokesperson, Inspector Hastings, says police will continue enforcing Covid-19 regulations in the district.
