Teenage boy is battling for his life at Kasungu District Hospital after being attacked by a crocodile at Dwangwa river.
The victim identified as Tasiyana Benard met his fate when he was washing his hands together with his friend Benala Katantha.
The boy is said to have been rescued by his friend.
The hero boy, sprung into action holding tight to his friend pulling against the crocodile until the beast gave up.
“The boy kept shouting scaring the reptile until it withdrew,” said Joyce Mbewe, the mother of the victim said in an interview with the press.
Tasiyana sustained a fracture on right leg and multiple bites.
