Family members in Dowa district on Tuesday made a horrifying discovery of a dead woman seating on a toilet.
The woman has been identified as Nalian Tambala, 61, from Kalinda Village in the area of Traditional Authority Chiwere.
Dowa Police Spokesperson Gladson M’bumpha said one of the deceased’s relative found Tambala whilst seated on a toilet as if she was sleeping.
M’bumpha said postmortem results have revealed that the Nalian Tambala died after she suffered a stroke.
