The Limbe First Grade Magistrate has completed hearing a case against Andrew Chagaga, a police officer accused of raping of 17 year old girl while in police custody.

First grade magistrate Tsoka Banda has adjourned his ruling on whether or not the police has a case to answer to a date yet to be announced.

Banda has since directed that both sides should present their submissions not later than 11 March 2021 before .

Eunice Ndingoone of the lawyers representing the victim has expressed gratitude saying the case has been heard smoothly, a sentiment also shared by Ian Kumpita, lawyer representing the defendant.

The police officer is said to have raped twice the student at Limbe Police Station last year.
