Minister of Civic Education and National Unity Timothy Mtambo’s ministerial vehicle which was stolen has been found abandoned near Bwengu Trading Centre in Mzimba North.
National Police Public Relations Officer James Kadadzera has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.
According to Kadadzera, the minister’s driver has reported the matter at Rumphi Police Station.
Reports indicate that the vehicle was involved in accident along the way, prompting the robbers to run away.
Mtambo’s driver had both his legs and hands tied throughout the way.
