Some first year students from Malawi College of Health Sciences have been barred from writing end of semester examinations today due to school fees balances.
One of the students representative Chrissy Nkunga confirmed of the development in an interview with one of the local daily papers in the country.
Nkunga pleaded with government to re-introduce government sponsorship enrollment to help meet school fees for needy students.
She said at the moment, the system only applies to students in different years of study except those in first year.
