First Discount House (FDH) Holdings Limited has handed over a 26.1 million kwacha office building and furniture to Ndirande Police Station in Blantyre

This is to extensively support operations of the Malawi Police Services in a bid to boost security and access to justice.

Speaking during the ceremony, Dr Elias Ngalande, Managing Director for FDH Holdings commended the work done by Police in the country but was quick to call for others in the corporate world to join the course.

On her part, Chikondi Chingaza, Police Commissioner for South West division admitted that most police stations are currently, facing challenges due to lack of equipment and infrastructure.

For instance, Chingaza said some police officers at Ndirande Police station were operating under trees due to lack of offices.
