Death has been announced of Councilor for Nsanje Lalanje constituency Hashim Chimuti.
Nsanje district council spokesperson Martin Chirwa confirmed of the development.
According to Chirwa, chimuti died at Nsanje district hospital after a long illness.
Chimuti has now been laid to rest at Bangula in the district.
