Mzimba police have arrested a man aged 31 for allegedly stealing a herd of five cattle in the area of Inkosi Mzukuzuku in that district.
Mzimba police has identified the suspect as Petros Mwale.
Mwale was arrested at Chizowe village yesterday as he allegedly attempted to sell the cattle without valid documentation.
His alleged accomplice, a Robert Zimba, is at large after escaping lawful arrest.
Petros Mwale is from Kachijere village in the area of Inkosi Mmbelwa in the same district.
