Death has been announced of father John Dimba of the Roman Catholic in Malawi.
Reverend Dimba was found dead in his room in Rome, Italy on Wednesday morning, according to information made available to faceofmalawi.
Father Dimba is believed to have died of diabetes.
Meanwhile many people especially catholic faithfuls have taken the matter to social to express their sadness over the death of Reverend Dimba.
Prince Kazembe wrote: “Very touching. May God comfort his family and of course the Pope’s family . He has lost many sons and servants this year. and as Catholics, we are mourning each month. loosing such kind of priests is a heavy brow. But since GOD is winning, we have no say other than saying GOD reward your commited servant with eternal life.”
Concurring with Kazambe’s remarks, Chinsinsi Nachisale Njehani wrote:”Oh my God . How I loved your teaching . Lord have Mercy on us. Sleep well father.”
Samsy G Huwa also wrote: “Its hard to believe that both fr Dimba and fr Stolo respectively have passed away. May their souls rest in eternal peace spiritans fathers!”
Episcopal Conference of Malawi (ECM) is yet to release funeral programme of late Father John Dimba.
