A Member of Parliament for Lilongwe South West who is also the deputy Minister of defence, Jean Sendeza on Tuesday visited Ntcheu-Tsangano-Mwanza road construction site in Ntcheu.

The visit was among other things to inspect the work progress and implementations.

Speaking during the visit, Sendeza appreciated the  commitment that  the constructors, Malawi Defence Force ( MDF) engineers battalion are showing towards the project and pledged to offer them more construction projects.

” We are very satisfied with the work you are doing and we promise to offer you more projects. We have more construction projects that the government has to implement this year and if you continue your great works like this, expect more projects from us”, promised Sendeza.

” We have noted some delays but this is not your fault. The government is now ready to make sure that the lack of resources that contributed to the delays are available so as to speed up the process. We can’t say when the resources are to be ready and available  since there is a  missing of allocated time frame but we are sure to have the resources available soon” She added.

The project was also once been inspected   by the vice president Saulos Chilima in December, 2020 in which he appreciated the work on the ground despite some delays due to the delayed government funding to run some tasks.
