Landlord beats up tenant in Blantyre

A tenant is in deep pain in Bangwe Township in the commercial capital Blantyre after being assaulted mercilessly by her landlord with a metal bar.
According to information at hand, the tenant picked a quarrel with two daughters of the landlord which resulted into a fight among the three.
The development anger the landlord who later intervened by mercilessly assaulting the tenant with a metal bar.
The video footage of the incident has since gone viral on the social media and many people are calling upon Minister of Homeland Security Richard Chimwendo Banda to intervene and arrest the landlord.
Chimwendo Banda and the Malawi Police Service (MPS) are yet to comment on the matter.
