Two men are in police custody in Salima for allegedly being found in possession of Indian Hemp yesterday.
Salima police deputy publicist, Prisca Kuyere Mtikwa, confirmed of the arrest.
Mtikwa said that the two Collins Chikaonda, 35, and Gibson Chikhaso, 35, were intercepted at Chipoka trade centre in a Toyota Sienta.
Mtika says police allegedly confiscated 13 bags full of what they suspect is Indian hemp and 40 plastic packs full of the same.
Chikaonda, hails from Munulo village, T/A Ntchema in Chiradzulo district while Chikhaso hails from Kasinje T/A Ganya in Ntcheu.
