Police in Mzimba are looking for a man Watson Tembo for allegedly assaulting his wife.
Mzimba police deputy spokesperson John Nyirongo confirmed of the development.
According to Nyirongo the incident happened on March 24, 2021 at Mjinge in the area of Inkosi Mmbelwa.
Nyirongo added that the wife later died Friday at Mzimba district hospital “from wounds inflicted on her head”.
The wife, Mefa Kumwenda, was aged 45.
