Police confiscates 200 bags of Chamba in Nkhotakota

Police at Nkhunga have impounded over 200 bags of Cannabis Sativa (Indian hemp) that were being kept in some two houses, by unknown persons.
The seizure follows a tip from some villagers.
Owners of the house escaped as the police raided the place.
Over 243 bags of the illicit drug were found.
Meanwhile, investigations to trace and arrest the suspects are under way.
