KFW OF GERMAN DONATES MEDICAL EQUIPMENT IN MZIMBA DISTRICT HOSPITALS

Ministry of health has supported district hospitals in the north with assorted medical equipment made available by Kreditanstalt Fur Wiederautbau [KFW] of German and other development partners.

The Medical equipment that was distributed in hospitals includes Oxygen concentrators, Beds, baby warmers, pregnancy testing kits and other related gadgets.

This exercise was meant to ease challenges in reproductive departments to reduce trends in maternal deaths.

According to a health technical services Officer at the ministry of health Clifford Dedza said the organisation will reach out to all district hospitals in the north.

Meanwhile the ministry has on Tuesday delivered over fifty million kwacha worth of medical equipment at Mzimba district hospitals.
