Former MACRA boss Godfrey Itaye’s case back in court

The State is today expected to continue parading witnesses at Blantyre Magistrates Court in a case against former Malawi Communication Regulatory Authority MACRA) Director General Godfrey Itaye and two others.

The two others are MACRA Director of Finance Ben Chitsonga and procurement specialist, Joseph Ngalawa.

The three are accused of abuse of office by authorising payment of over K8 million for Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) cloth.

Previously the state paraded two witnesses in the case.
