Kosovo has sworn in 38-year old Vjosa Osmani as its new President.

The 38-year-old charismatic leader received backing from the parliament in a vote boycotted by a Serb party. Ex-President Hashim Thaci vacated the post in November after being charged with war crimes.

The reformist and lawyer was approved as President by the country’s parliament in Pristina on Sunday with the backing of Prime Minister Albin Kurti and his Vetevendosje (Self-Determination) party.
