Suspected thief attacked by angry mob in Dedza

A suspected criminal identified as Charles Lino has sustained multiple injuries after an irate mob hacked him with panga knives at Chagunda village today.

Lino was attacked by the mob for allegedly trying to rob a businessman.

Mtakataka Station Officer, Mackson Jere confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.

According to Jere, Lino is now at Dedza District Hospital where he is being treated for the injuries.

Police are yet to make any arrest.
