A woman is reported dead in Dedza after drowning in Livulezi River in the district.
Dedza Police spokesperson, Edward Kabango confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.
According to Kabango, the body of the deceased woman was found by villagers and the matter was reported to Golomoti Police.
Medical personnel conducted a postmortem and results showed that the woman died due to suffocation, according to Kabango.
