At least 130 angry Malawi Congress Party (MCP) supporters are baying for the blood of the party’s leadership over allowances.

The frustrated supporters, are accusing the party’s leadership of failing to pay them allowances amounting to K18 million for their services as party monitors during the May 2019 tripartite elections.

According to the frustrated supporters, their efforts to engage with the party’s leadership on their concerns have proved futile as nothing has been done.

The party’s Secretary General Eisenhower Mkaka was not available for comment.

But MCP’s Campaign Director Moses Kunkuyu accused the irritated supporters of being in a hasty.

He further advises to use other channels other than going straight to the media to have their grievances addressed.
