BUSHIRI’S EXRADICTION CASE BACK IN COURT

Enlightened Christians Gathering Church (ECG) leader Prophet Shepherd Bushiri and his wife, Mary Bushiri, have returned to the Lilongwe Magistrate Court this morning to continue hearing their extradition case.
Bushiri and wife Mary did not appear in court during the last session following the passing of their daughter, Israella.
The court then had ordered the State to bring South African witnesses to Malawi to testify.
Meanwhile, the Lawyer representing the Bushiri’s, Wapona Kita has since disclosed that they are expecting the Court to hear their application to have the South Africa extradition request dismissed because it is based on SADC Protocol which is not domesticated in Malawi.
