23 year old man is in police custody for allegedly defiling a 12 year old school girl in Phalombe.
Sergeant Innocent Moses, Phalombe police spokesperson confirmed the development.
Moses, identified the suspect as Jonas Lipho.
According to Moses, Lipho broke into the house and defiled the girl.
Lipho, who hails from Nkhulambe Village in the area of Senior Chief Nkhulambe in Phalombe will appear before court soon to answer charge of defilement contravening Section 138 of the Penal Code.
