State vice President Dr. Saulos Chilima has for the second time condemned the ongoing infighting in the Tonse Alliance led by Dr. Lazarus Chakwera.
Chilima said this on Tuesday in Karonga where he when to inspect various government projects currently underway in the district.
In his speech, Chilima reminded the Tonse Alliance followers not to forget the reason behind the formation of the Alliance.
“Tinali limodzi pa 23 June paja, leronso tili limodzi pano, ndiye osayamba kutumbwa pano ayi,tiyeni tigwire ntchito limodzi ndale tizapangabe nthawi ikazakwana,” said Chilima while attracting ululations from United Transformation Movement (UTM) followers.
Turning to the campaign promises, Chilima said all the campaign promises including that of reducing passport prices will be fulfilled.
Chilima blamed COVID-19 pandemic, saying the pandemic has made the Tonse Alliance to delay in fulfilling some of the campaign promises.
