Suspicious of her husband’s fidelity, a woman allegedly planted cannabis in his autorickshaw with the intention of getting him arrested. The incident took place in Faridabad. The woman grew suspicious of her husband as he often returned home late.

The accused, who is a resident of SGM Nagar and hails from Uttar Pradesh. The woman’s husband drives an autorickshaw. Reportedly, the woman’s husband did not return home on some nights as well.

The woman grew suspicious of her husband and assumed that he was having an affair. The same led to several arguments between the couple. After repeated arguments, the woman decided to frame her husband.

After hatching the plan, the woman went to Delhi and bought cannabis from a man named Pawan, The Indian Express reported. The woman then planted the cannabis in her husband’s vehicle. Following this, the woman alerted the cops about the illegal drug.

After being informed about the drugs, the police arrested the man. Probe, however, revealed that the woman planted 700 grams of cannabis in the vehicle. Sube Singh, PRO of Faridabad Police said, “The woman has been arrested by police and 700 grams of cannabis seized. An FIR has been registered against her under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) at the SGM Nagar police station. ”

The woman produced before a court and sent to jail. Efforts are being made to track and arrested Pawan.
