State Vice President Dr. Saulos Chilima on Friday inspected Chakazi bridge in Mzimba.
It is a very strategic bridge in Mzimba, but government has for long failed to have it completed, to the dismay of community members.
Chilima has been in the North for the whole of this week inspecting government projects currently under construction.
The VP toured the Jenda-Edingeni Road in Mzimba, Rumphi-Nyika-Nthalire-Chitipa and Njakwa-Livingstonia roads in Rumphi.
He also visited the Nthola-Ilora-Ngosi rice irrigation scheme and Karonga Town Water Supply Project in Karonga.
Besides, Chilima has also conducted quarterly reform meetings with all Councils in the region, apart from visiting the Aquaculture Centre in Mzuzu.
