The Malawi Government has on Friday, April, 23 put in place new Covid-19 prevention rules.
This development is in line with the eased restrictions on the prevention of the Covid-19 pandemic announced earlier this week.
The new gazetted rules however have seen an increase in the number of people allowed for outdoor gatherings from 100 to 250 and indoors from 50 to 100.
The government has also increased the time for the closure of bars and bottle stores from 8 pm to 12 midnight.
Meanwhile, the public transport capacity has been increased from 60 percent to 75 percent.
The guidelines will be reviewed after four weeks.
