A four-year-old boy has died in Kasungu after a stationery car reversed on its own and hit him.
Kasungu Police spokesperson Edna Mzingwitsa confirmed of the accident on Tuesday in an interview with the press.
According to Mzingwitsa, following the impact, Levi Beni sustained internal injuries and died whilst receiving treatment at the district’s hospital.
The driver is in police custody for reckless driving.
