Prophet Shepherd Bushiri and wife, Mary, have arrived at the Lilongwe Magistrate Court to continue hearing their extradition case.
Their hearing was supposed to start at 2pm but has been pushed to later as Chief Resident Magistrate Patrick Chirwa, is presiding over another case involving suspended MERA CEO Collins Magalasi.
Some members of the clergy have come to witness the Bushiris case.
Among them is Reverend Malani Mtonga, and eight other pastors.
Mtonga says they are here to offer support to the ECG leader and his spouse and adds that as faith leaders they fear that the two would be killed if they are extradited to South Africa.
Bushiri and his wife are wanted in South Africa for money laundering and fraud.
Meanwhile Bushiri wants the extradition case be held at Constitutional court.
