7 Women Jailed For Assaulting Fellow Woman For Allegedly Going Out With Married Man

Police in Mchinji have arrested seven women for allegedly assaulting a fellow woman on suspicion that she was going out with a married man.
The seven, all from Chibwana village, Traditional Authority Mlonyeni in Mchinji district, allegedly assaulted Christina Nyasulu after she was spotted coming out of the house of a family where the wife was not around.
Station Officer for Mchinji Police, Charles James Mpezeni, says the women have been arrested on the basis of a video clip circulating on social media.
