Officer in-Charge for Bzyanzi Juvenile Prison in Dowa died in a road accident last night after a vehicle he was driving overturned several times at Senga village along Dzaleka-Dowa Turn-off M7 road.
Dowa police spokesperson Sub-Inspector Gladson M’bumpha has confirmed of the accident in an interview with the press
M’bumpha says Inspector Rodwell Mpangaza is believed to have lost control of the motor vehicle as he tried to negotiate a curve.
The vehicle hit a tree, overturned several times and plunged into a drain.
Inspector Mpangaza, 43 hailed from Kangona Village TA Khombedza in Salima.
