President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera is today traveling to the North for official duties.
State House Press Officer Brian Banda has confirmed of the trip in an interview with the press.
According to Banda, Chakwera will re-launch the construction of United States (US)-funded 250 secondary schools project on Monday in Mzuzu.
The project will be implemented under the Secondary Education Expansion for Development (Seed) Project.
On Tuesday, the President will preside over a University of Livingstonia graduation ceremony in Mzuzu.
Currently Chakwera is holding whistle stop tour in Kasungu District.
