Chilima Orders Fargo Construction To Upgrade Neno Road To Grade A

Vice President Dr. Saulos Chilima has instructed Fargo Construction Company which is constructing the Neno road to upgrade it to Grade A, saying government can not afford maintaining roads every three years due to substandard road construction works.
The VP has further advised the company to redo drainage system and rework on sharp bends, saying these are recipe for road accidents.
Neno has had no tarmac road since 2003 when it was declared a district by former President Bakili Muluzi.
