President Lazarus Chakwera will attend the Kamuzu Day memorial service at the mausoleum in City Centre, Lilongwe.
State House Press Secretary Brian Banda has confirmed of the development in a statement made available to faceofmalawi.
According to the statement, the President will arrive at the mausoleum with First Lady Monica Chakwera at 9:40am.
The day is celebrated as the birthday of Malawi’s founding president,late Hastings Kamuzu Banda.
