Police in Mzimba have arrested 10 Bangladesh nationals for allegedly entering the country illegally through Songwe border in Karonga.
Mzimba police deputy spokesperson John Nyirongo confirmed of the development.
According to Nyirongo, the 10 were intercepted at Raiply road block in a Scania vehicle registration number 8692 and were enroute to Lilongwe.
Two Malawians have also been nabbed for allegedly aiding the Bangladesh nationals while the driver of the vehicle Registration number KK 8692 is at large.
