Neno First Grade Magistrate has today convicted and jailed a 43 year old man for defiling his 3 year old step daughter.
The convict has been identified as Alfred Sadya.
According to reports, the man committed the crime on the night of March 30, 2021.
It is alleged that the mother of the victim was admitted at Neno District Hospital and the suspect took advantage of the situation and do the uncalled act.
Report from the hospital confirmed that the girl had been defiled which led to the arrest of Sadya.
The sentence has been given to deter would be offenders.
