Newly confirmed Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Director Martha Chizuma has received her appointment letter from the Secretary to the President and Cabinet Zangazanga Chikhosi.
The former Ombudsperson confirmed of the development in an interview with the media.
Chizuma said she is expecting to report for duties on Tuesday, June 1, 2021.
Chizuma’s appointment as the new Czar of the graft busting body has been dramatic as it attracted public wrath after Public Appointments Committee (PAC) of Parliament denied her.
Later PAC members rescinded their decision and confirmed Chizuma to head the ACB.
