The National Cancer Center is expected to start adult admissions next month.
Health Minister Khumbize Chiponda has disclosed this yesterday.
According to Chiponda, the center is already providing admission services for children.
Presently, local cancer patients are referred to India for radiotherapy, an arrangement that concerned stakeholders insist is expensive.
Located within the Kamuzu Central Hospital premises, the center is set to increase access for patients to get treatment within the country.
