The Education sector has been allocated the lion’s share of the 2021/2022 national budget unveiled in the National Assembly by Minister of Finance and Economic Development Felix Mlusu.
According to Mlusu, the Education sector has been allocated K327 billion (3.2 percent of GDP) while agriculture gets K284 billion (2.8 percent of GDP) from the budget.
On one hand, health sector has been allocated K187.2 billion (1.8 percent of GDP) while transport sector receives K208 billion (2 percent of GDP).
