Some concerned citizens are planning to petition Parliament over issues surrounding asylum seekers and refugees.
The group demands a review of prevailing laws on refugees insisting that the status quo infringes on the rights of the displaced foreign nationals.
The group’s Chairperson Mundango Nyirenda has confirmed about the issue.
Nyirenda said that he fears congestion at the camp as it will now accommodate about 50,000 refugees instead of the designed 14,000.
It follows the recent order by the government to relocate all refugees residing and operating business outside Dzaleka camp to return to the camp.
