A panel of seven Supreme Court Judges is set to hear the appeal case of Misozi Chanthunya on June 29, 2021.
Registrar of the Supreme Court of Appeal (SCA) and High Court of Malawi, Gladys Gondwe, has confirmed of the development.
Chanthunya is appealing Judge Ruth Chinangwa’s ruling which condemned him to life imprisonment for murdering his girlfriend, Linda Gasa, in August, 2010.
The body of Gasa, a fourth year student at Malawi College of Accountancy was discovered buried at Chanthunya’s cottage in Mangochi.
