Chiefs under Traditional Authority Kadewere in Chiradzulu District have donated furniture to Ndunde Health Centre in their area.

“The initiative was championed by 21chiefs from my area who agreed to contribute money. It is our responsibility to ensure that our public facilities are taken care of,” he said.

Medical Assistant for Ndunde Health Centre, Hussein Barrack Imamu has confirmed the development.

He  however asked authorities to help mitigate water challenges at the health centre.

“We used to have enough water at this facility but some months ago, the hospital water pipe was stolen and this hospital is operating with no water,” Imamu worried.

Member of Parliament for Chiradzulu East, Joseph Nomale, thanked the chiefs for the donation.

He however condemned the habit of frustrating developmental efforts in the area, where people are stealing and destroying public facilities.
