Vision for the Voiceless, a local non-governmental organization donated 20 litres of hand sanitizer to AMECA Clinic in Chilaweni.

The donation was made as part of “Cover Malawi Initiative” which the organization has been running for almost a year now.

Speaking during the donation, VIVO Strategic Communications Lead Limbani Ngwata said COVID-19 prevention requires a concerted effort that is why his organization decided to reach out to the clinic.

“Clinics like AMECA are playing a major role in fighting COVID 19. We see their effort that is why VIVO decided to energize them with donation of hand sanitizer. Together we can make a difference in a war to defeat COVID-19,” said Ngwata.

For her part, CEO and Founder for AMECA Trust, Ruth Markus, said her organization was grateful for the donation.

“Thank you so much for being kind enough to have made such a wonderful donation of hand sanitizers to the charity. We are deeply grateful to your organization,” said Markus adding that it is imperative that staff should sanitize their hands in respect of COVID 19 prevention.

Vision for the Voiceless was established with an aim of providing a platform for learning and social economic support for the voiceless in Malawi and beyond.
