The National Assembly of Malawi has officially advertised the post of Ombudsman.
The office was declared vacant following the appointment of the then public protector, Martha Chizuma as the Director of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB).
There has been mounting pressure from the public, calling for the authorities to fill the Ombudsman’s office to ensure the continuation of the governance role of the office.
