Dr Bakili Muluzi, Malawi’s first democratically elected leader, says he is appalled by the realization that less than 400 000 people in the country have received their covid-19 vaccine since the roll out of the exercise in March.
Concerned Muluzi in an interview has made an appeal to Malawi citizens to take the vaccination seriously.
The Former President disclosed this today during his Second jab exercise in BCA.
He said that this is not a government problem. Look at the way the economy and social life have been affected by the pandemic.
”We need to take the personal responsibility to protect ourselves and others by getting the vaccine,” said Muluzi.
