Deputy Minister of Labour, Vera Kamtukule, says there is a mismatch between training being offered by community technical colleges and the skills that the industry needs.
She says this is why some college graduates fail to apply articulate issues related to their fields.
Kamtukule has since pointed out that the ministry, together with Teveta, is reviewing the curriculum.
She was responding to a question by Rumphi West legislator, Yona Adadawize Mkandawire.
Mkandawire wanted to know if the ministry has a policy to make sure that community colleges benefit the graduates and communities surrounding the colleges.
